The Arizona Cardinals have two more days left to make a decision on the starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Kurt Warner or Matt Leinart? Coach Ken Whisenhunt said he may not have the idea until Sunday night.
Warner sustained a concussion on Nov. 22 while playing against the St. Louis Rams, but still took part in all the practices with starters last week. However, he did not wear back his Cardinals jersey to play last Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans as there were some lingering post-concussion symptoms. So Leinart started the game last Sunday with little preparation.
Warner said he feels much better this week, and he indeed practiced on Thursday. But Whisenhunt did not want what happened last week happens again this week and would like to put off his decision on the starting quarterback in case of late setbacks to Warner.
