In order to prepare for this Saturday’s playoff against the New York Jets, the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco worked out on Tuesday although he had not fully recovered from a sore knee, which he hurt during last Sunday’s season finale against the Jets.
Ochocinco even couldn’t fully extend the knee on Monday and had a precautionary medical test, but he still put on his Bengals jersey and participated in practice Tuesday, saying “I’m all right. I’m taking medicine.” Last Sunday he started the game and did not finish it because of the injury. He left the field even without a catch, ending his streak of 120 games with a reception. That could cause him to feel ego being bruised.
According to Coach Marvin Lewis, Ochocinco is expected to be ready by Saturday along with defensive lineman Domata Peko and safety Chris Crocker, both of whom missed some games because of surgery or injury.
