As the Florida Gators legendary quarterback Tim Tebow will put on NFL jerseys in 2010 season to begin his pro career, many people have had their own opinion on what the will-be rookie should do with his career. The Jacksonville Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri is only one of them.
Knowing that Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver has said he was interested in drafting the Florida legend, Nwaneri thought his boss should reconsider his decision as the offensive man does not believe that Tebow could be a good quarterback. The reasons he gave include: Tebow can’t throw; Tebow can’t read any coverage other than probably cover 2 or man coverage; the quarterback wildcat will not work in NFL; and Tebow does not know how to take a snap from center.
However, Nwaneri said that was just what he thinks about Tebow, and if the team really picks him, whatever position the rookie is to take, he will be “family just like everyone else. No doubt about it." Nwaneri later added that he still thought Tebow could be a excellent tight end rather than a quarterback.
