For the teams who have won enough games to go to the playoff, it is not necessary to worry about what if they lost the remaining games of the season. Especially for the unbeaten teams, they have won too many to worry if they cannot keep a clean streak.
Focus on playing and players’ status is much more important. To make sure they are going to put on their NFL jerseys in their perfect or near-perfect condition. A lost game does not mean a going-to-lose game, and having lost a game makes it unlikely for the team to lose the following games. Practice and workout, get full preparation by learning from what happened in previous games, and a team will give its best.
For fans, support your beloved team anyway, lose or win, you love them not because win but because of the some special things the team features. That is how every of the 32 NFL teams survives and wins support of large amount of fans. Hope and Future remain the primary goal.
